A Woman's Call
Last Monday we had our final AWC meeting of the year. Our Guest speaker was riveting; as she shared a deeply moving testimony of the diverse challenges she has faced in her life.
June was given a prophetic word in 2004. In faith she bought two crowns, royal colour purple fabric as a prophetic act. Yes, I know some people would think that is absolutely crazy. But sometimes what comes across as seemingly crazy is God working.
Due to difficulties in her life, that dream was aborted. June shared how a dream could be resurrected by the Word of God and then by taking the appropriate action.
Many women were inspired to believe that no matter how hard life can be, God can use your challenges to bring the Word of God to pass. "And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the multitudes were astonished at His teaching." Matthew 7.28 (ASV) Likewise, the women were amazed when they heard her compelling testimony.
The message is to build and maintain this expectant attitude of "and it came to pass" as you face your Challenges, because life is simply a progression of growth. Life does not stand still. Challenges in your life will help you move forward, sharpen your character and tune in your faith.
June was awarded the MBE from the Queen of England 2011 for her contribution and service to the Community.
As a result, June today feeds in excess of 7,000 people per month - homeless, single parents and broken business people.
Recently nominated for The Big Society Award - to be announced in January 2012 - June has visits to 10 Downing St, Contract with Waitrose Partnership, with Feeding of 5,000 - Trafalgar Sq, and the list lengthens.
Dallas Texas November 2011
We left London with great expectation which was met with equal measure. No sooner had the door of the 747 opened, when we were blinded by the sun of Texas and the very size of everything in vast expanse lay before us.
On Friday evening, Martin addressed the businessmen at a Dinner and led prayer for each and everyone. Shaneen made the opening address of the 2011 Women’s Conference, "Color Your Mind” speaking on the subject of the Mind. On Saturday Shaneen spoke and had a time of Ministry.
On Sunday, Martin spoke to the Church from Isaiah 6: 1-8, where he rallied the congregation to consider what they could do for the Church as they expand their Mission across America and beyond. There was the opportunity for prayer and after 5 hours we had fulfilled our promise to pray for each and everyone there.
During our trip we were joined by our good friend Sujo John and his wife Mary, from whom we heard some more amazing stories. They both survived 9/11 and the collapse of the Twin Towers in which they both worked. We were also blessed in typical Texan hospitality by being taken by friends to a Bible Study Monday evening, where we witnessed an incredible meeting in the home of a couple, who led the meeting in such an inspirational way. The unity of Christianity spoke loud as we saw people opening their homes to share the gospel and fellowship. We experienced the call from many to ask for guidance in all that they do. In a world where we see so much wrong, we saw so much good from Texas. It was a great encouragement!
As we said our sad farewell to Pastor Larry, Tiz, and their team, we knew in our hearts that much had been accomplished, much would come from our trip, and that we would return perhaps sooner than we imagined. As we arrived home to the grey skies of Autumn London, we prayed and thanked God for His help. (and Shaneen opened another Invitation to speak in India!)
GlaxoSmith Kline
Your work matters to God!
It was a great opportunity to speak this week at GlaxoSmith Kline London. The world of work and world of faith can be so misunderstood. The issue of work and faith is a raw subject. Many face the challenge of going to work unchallenged, unaided by the Word of God. Not clear on how to communicate faith at work, maybe some feel bored with work and see no lasting value. Maybe you struggle with co-workers and find it difficult to keep the ethical edge.
I want to convince you that your work matters to God. God himself is a worker! How does God view Work? Without question he regards it as very significant. His first appearance in the Bible pages is as a worker. (read the Creation story beginning in Genesis) Colossians 1:16-17 we look at the God who cannot be seen. We look at his Son and see God's original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. Col. 1:16-17 (The Message)
God created man in His image as a worker.
You are created for significance and when you work, you are doing something very God-like.
You were created not to work by yourself but as co-workers with God.
Genesis 2:8 God planted the Garden – Man Was to Cultivate!
You are in partnershipwith God... the point being that God put great dignity on us when He delegated to us the responsibility for managing creation.
You have a privilege status... you are partners with the Father God.
Through work you earn money to give to others
Through work you serve others
Through work we meet our needs
Though work we meet our family needs
Through work we LOVE God
Maybe you think God needs us to accomplish His work. Not at all –rather God chooses us to participate in His plan.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Whether Greece defaults on its debts, Italy follows and the Euro collapses, the crux of the matter is that Europe borrowed too much money to create what it is today. Whether the United States is downgraded in its credit rating, the crux of the matter is that they are now owned by China.
Whether China is the emerging nation or not, the fact of the matter is that like India, 80% of its' population lives on less than $2 a day, the level of income that has started many revolutions.
Whether the Arab spring brings democracy and freedom, these twin towers are those that will eventually lead to the equivalent decline, especially as the oil well runs dry within the next generation.
The fact that Russians have started to buy all of the London town houses begs this fundamental question...If Russia is getting any better post Stalin, then why do they all want to be in London?
As Africa sells its' natural resources to China, it is highly likely that the funds will end up in a London penthouse or another Hermes bag swinging its' way down Bond Street and never seen again in that Continent. As we wave goodbye to the Colonel we look around for the missing 14 billion dollars, which, for the Banks they were in, may no longer even be there, but dwindled on the ever increasing Bank bonus.
The Bible tells us that "there is nothing new under the sun" and indeed if one follows the economic chartists then we are looking to the next decade as being awful for the majority, this being as since 1200 Great Britain experienced depression every 60 years. In the USA depression has occurred at 57, 54 and 53 years apart 1836-43, 1893-97 and 1929-42, (Wall Street Journal 10/10/08)
The Bible speaks of Jubilee every 50 years where debts are wiped out, the Aztecs calendar started afresh ever 52 years.
So then time for debt wipeout? Why yes because the coming inflation will be so rampant the debt will be wiped out!
New calendar? Start afresh? Well they are trying to do that as the masters of the universe seek to abolish AD and BC on our calendar to be replaced by CE (common era). The Bible tells us to store up our wealth in Heaven, probably the best piece of financial advice ever given.
How then will we all survive? Very simple my friends. The Lord will provide for all our needs and if we stay close to Him we will be blessed.
We know that He has a plan to prosper us and if we seek Him with all our heart we will find Him.
Therefore, by all means watch Bloomberg, read the online newspapers and broadsheets, but spend the first 15 and last 15 minutes of your day tuned into Him. Revolutionize your life as He lays out the plan for your life and protects you as you go about your day.
There is no better investment!

Are you caught up in the trap of offense?
Last week I preached in Oxford, on the subject of offense. Touchy topic because many people are unaware that it is one of Satan?s devices to stop your life progress.
What is an offense?
Greek word skandlon means a trap, a snare, a stumbling block. The original word means to strike, to slam, to catch in a snare, a stick thrown, to slip on the path over which one falls, to trap ones' heels.
Luke 17:1 "Then said he to the disciples, "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him, through whom they do come!"
In short, be aware of offenses!
The word offense in some Bible versions is referred to as stumbling block, trouble will come, temptations will come, traps will come.
A Snare is something that allures one from his purpose and then destroys him.
Matthew 16:23 "But He turned and said to Peter, "Get Behind Me Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." (NKJV) Jesus didn't swerve. "Peter, get out of my way. Satan, get lost. You have no idea how God works.Peter was a stumbling block and Jesus had to rebuke him. A stumbling block is a hindrance, an obstacle, something standing in the way of ones' progress.
Offenses come through Insults
Division
Broken relationships
Words that somebody said
What happens when you get offended?
You begin to repeat your offenses!
How do you know you have been caught up in the trap of offense?
Resentment
When someone is blessed, you get jealous
When their name is bought up
Back biting
Speaking negative things about someone
Focusing on offense
What do people do when they are offended?
They surround themselves with people who are offended
They split churches
They get stuck.
When you are offended you will have no progression
Offense will cause you to be stuck
Forgiveness will make you progress faster
How you respond to offence will determine your future with God!
1. Apply Forgiveness if you are offended
2. Wrap yourself in God's word
3. Love never gives into offense
David said in Psalm 119 .165
Great peace has they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

How to release Revival power in your life
The simple reasons why we don't have revival in our lives is because we're content to live without it. We're not seeking God ... we're seeking miracles ... we're seeking big conferences ... we're seeking blessings. In Numbers 11, Moses said to God, "You're asking me to carry a burden I can't handle." Do something or kill me! Sound like Patrick Henry's prayer from "Give me liberty or give me death?"
Rachel in Genesis goes to Jacob and throws herself down in despair. She says, "Give me children or else I die."
I read many years ago "The situation is desperate but they are not."
I was reading a great book by Revivalist Andrew Murray called "Absolute Surrender" This man states that the desire that God puts into your heart He will fulfill. That helped me. I thought of it a hundred times. I want to say the same to you who are plunging about and struggling in the quagmire of helplessness and doubt. The desire that God puts into your heart, He will fulfill. The Holy Spirit wants to partner with you right now to fulfil his plan on earth. I have learned that God has guaranteed His work in us. You can experience revival personally, not just read about it in books.
God makes his best people in loneliness. The secret of God's power in your life, is praying in secret. If fact God's best people are made in the secret place.(Matt. 6:6)
You can't show off when the door's shut and nobody's there. You can't display your gifts. You can impress others, but you can impress God. This is the key to the power of revival in your life. The private waiting room is where revival starts.
Key points :
Don't just read about revival become a revivalist! Go for it!

God's Generals
At the beginning of the month we hosted the great author and preacher Roberts Liardon Author of the God Generals a packed Baden Powell House in central London. Roberts challenged everyone to realise and stir their God given gifts whilst encouraging all to step out in boldness with their Christian faith.
In the second week of June I found myself teaching on the Holy Spirit at Malshanger in Basingstoke. Those in attendance were from the Watson's HTB Pastorate and the assembly teaching on Fathers Day was a timely reminder for all Fathers and their wives to recognise the importance of the Father role within the family. I was blessed personally to have this time with everyone down there in Hampshire
This weekend I am off to Wales to speak to a Ladieswoman's and again look forward to bringing the word of God to all, so as to bring life change, comfort and transformation. Further to emphasise that we all share a loving Father that individually cares for us and whose plans are to prosper us. Now that is exciting!!
"A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society."
-- Billy Graham, Christian Evangelist

Running with Heels
I am so excited to announce the launch of our new website in July. "Keep a look out?
I have just got back from the Midlands, speaking at the 5th Running in Heels conference, which simply teaches on the subject of identity. Now identity always comes with confirmation. When Jesus was baptized, His Father, said "This is my beloved son, who I am well pleased with?.
Until you know who you are you cannot do what you are called to do! The Conference was for all Asian women and therefore becomes a first in the UK, which is so exciting in itself. Additionally, Testimonies are still coming in, with amazing stories of lives being touched, healed and restored.
On Sunday I spoke in Wolverhampton on the topic "Destiny out of Darkness?. This is one of my favorite teachings because it addresses the reason for our season. When everything seems so dark, and nothing we can do can solve or resolve the situation, then where do we turn?
This month "Woman Alive? magazine June addition - is featuring, an article on the recent event at Ritz tea. http://www.womanalive.co.uk/
All because He lives.

The Royal Wedding

The Royal Wedding at long last brought to the fore all that is great about Britain. It was no accident that the entire world was gripped with interest and the event served as a full endorsement as to all that is great about this sceptred Isle. The organisation of the event coupled with the excellent Policing and meticulous timing proves once again why the nation achieved so much for one so small. To witness the professionalism of the Horse Guards coupled with their regalia presentation without blemish made us all feel proud to fly the flag that had almost been forgotten.
To hear the eloquence of the scripture Romans 12 read by the brother of the bride and the deep, meaningful address from The Bishop of London was a reminder of our rich Christian Heritage. Then finally of course the Bride and Groom. Two young people in love, in friendship and in unison throughout. The Wedding dress was a perfect simple statement, a wise choice, matching the bride in every way.
We pray for the happy couple, May God guide and guard them from this day forward and bring upon them every blessing in the years ahead. God save The Queen.

This has been a full month of exciting colourful events and testimonies.
Spring always reminds me of colour .Do you remember as a child you were given the colouring books that limited you to colour between the lines . Many of us have done this in our lives, and found we are in a box. God wants you to colour the world around . The lines are limitations . This season come out and discover how much you can do outside of the limits placed upon you .
I can only say this because I have truly lived it and seen the results of God's power at work when you discover you were created to be limitless .
I have just got back from hosting the Ritz tea in London! This was one of the steps that I took to to colour outside of the lines that people or circumstances place on your life.
Join with me this month to step outside the lines and take the brush to colour a new beginning and speak a new walk outside those lines of restriction.
Enjoy this season with me.
Love Shaneen

February 2011-02-22
As I prepared to start the New Year off my new I Pad addressing the ladies of St Mary Magdalene, Holloway, London, The Holy Spirit prompted me to lay down the Pad!!
I had an overwhelming and sudden sense that my agenda should be set aside and the Ladies wanted a touch, a healing, ministry in the true sense. Well to my surprise the Holy Spirit certainly moved in on us and wow yes wow we witnessed a healing, many lives were touched. As always Surrender, that obedience to the guidance and call of The Holy Spirit.
When we start to do things God's way instead of our own, we experience 3 things
1. We have peace
2. We have freedom
3. We have power
William Booth said "The greatness of man's power is in the measure of his surrender; eventually everybody surrender to something.
Off to the USA with my best friend Martin, my husband, looking forward to sharing about my recent trip to India with Sujo John on the 700 club on Monday 28th February. Watch the show, love to hear from you. On the same day I will be ministering on the topic 100 fold anointing on the spiritual webcast. Check out the website for more on that! www.cbn.org
Remember Surrender is key, obedience is action and then see how HE moves!!

Newsletter -January 2011
I can't believe 2011 is already on our doorstep! January is always a month of setting goals, reflection and preparation.
Let's start with December, which is my favourite month of the year! I was invited to India on a mission with the team from the USA. They had the whole shebang: band, gifts for the 2000 slum kids and blankets and the homeless (a mission called "Cover the City"). In addition I had the opportunity to speak at many schools and churches, and visiting slum children with gifts was an unforgettable experience: these kids were as bright as you can get!
Thousands of teenagers heard the good news of Jesus Christ. As I spoke I saw their faces brighten up; this sparked a real zeal for the mission we had embarked upon. We visited the Ryan International School and the Jesus and Mary College, where Gandhi's grandchildren went. It was a rally with 10,000 in attendance over two nights. Sujo John, a 9/11 survivor, shared his testimony and many lives were touched.
All in all, the mission exceeded my expectations! "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us? (Ephesians 3:20).
Five years ago I prayed to go to India; my prayer was "give me India!" And today indeed the Lord has opened doors all over India!
This year expect the Lord to do immeasurably more than you can ever imagine, because today His power is at work within you. Go for it!
I am currently writing my book. I am off to Virginia (USA) soon ? don?t forget the Ritz Tea is coming soon!

Review 2010
New Zealand
The highlight of the year was my family trip to New Zealand, during which I spent precious time with my family and also had an encounter with the Lord on the mountains overlooking Queenstown. I suddenly perceived God's presence and in a vision saw myself speaking to thousands of people about Jesus in 2011.
Virginia, USA
I spoke on fasting at the 700 Club and taught during the webcast, which was also attended by Pat Robinson, who never attends webcasts! He disappeared as I led the song "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," so I guess singing is not my strong point?
Nashville, USA
We braved the snowy drive to Nashville from Virginia and I loved the trip with my husband. We attended a Christian meeting with 8000 people, during which the speaker called me out and prophesied something that has come to pass! It is so true that you simply never know what lies around the corner.
Virginia, USA again
We attended Pat Robertson's 80th birthday, which was a real honour. After a delayed flight and food poisoning we finally arrived late and celebrated the life of a genuinely bold, visionary and innovative pioneer. Listening to Pat Robertson and looking at Kenneth and Gloria Copeland - folks who never compromised the gospel - I promised myself that I will never compromise the gospel for as long as I am alive.
Dallas, Texas, USA
It was a real highlight to speak in a place where everyone believes that Texas is the be-all and end-all! The anointing at the meetings was a powerful experience, and I also had an interview about my testimony with DayStar on Tabletalk with Joni Lamb. Three important points were made: to put God first, the family second and the ministry third. I'm still receiving notes from all over the world on this one!
Bedford, the city of John Bunyan
I spoke at a conference that I have been running called "Running with Heels," which deals with image; the experience was made powerful by the fact that so many young men and women were touched, healed and restored!
A Woman's Call meetings
These monthly meetings have really taken off! They focus on spiritual development, prayer, the prophetic gift, teaching, business networking and reflection. Come and see women released in their God-given gifts! www.awomanscall.org.uk
Israel with INSP
This was simply the best, because what you read is what you see, and that, my friends, is what makes the difference to your life! The highlight was my daughter's baptism in the River Jordan, which made me feel very yummy mummy.
Oxford
The lunch in Oxford was just for women, but there were lots of men around anyway: ushers, cameramen and waiters. You simply cannot get away from men, but I believe that is in itself a blessing! This meeting was definitely a surprise: I was extremely tired when I arrived and by the time I left I realised that God uses us in weakness and His power is made perfect in that moment, because we truly lean on Him. I was initially keen to leave quickly and enjoy the hot weather, but the women were so blessed that day and when you see the Holy Spirit in action you inevitably forget what you wanted!
Focus week with HTB
This was a proper holiday in a caravan - cold, wet and lovely because we were so close to the sea. The food was pretty good too, and it was great to be surrounded by people who looked like they were in Heaven. I loved the Bishop of London's sense of humour, and all in all it was one of the best weeks of seeing my Church buddies. Do make it down this year!
Back in Dallas
This was a conference called "No boundaries, no limits." I spoke at the New Beginnings Church and they really set the scene ? Americans like to do things in a big way! I taught on the subject of trying to fit into something you are not.
Ritz Tea
This event was cancelled and rescheduled for March 2011. I am looking forward to seeing you all at high tea at the Ritz!
Holloway Prison
The inmates of HMP Holloway received 2000 books for Christmas. This year we also partnered with Angel tree, a charity that buys a Christmas gift for the child of every woman in prison.
India
New Delhi was an outstanding end to the year. I had been praying for a visit to India for so many years and seeing the Lord move and open doors was truly an answer to my prayers. The vision I had earlier in the year in New Zealand came to pass in India, as I saw thousands coming to Christ through the preaching of the Word. An unforgettable end to the year!
Angel Tree 2010
A Woman's Call is a proud supporter of ANGEL TREE 2010. Every year ANGEL TREE brings some joy and light to the children of prisoners by giving them presents on behalf of their parents and, above all, by delivering the true message of Christmas.
